How to enable Customer Reviews in the Wix Store App

Many people have asked us to integrate our Customer Reviews app with the Wix.com Store app. We thought it was a really good idea but it was technically challenging. We looked, coded and tested and looked some more till we found a solution for anyone that has:

  1. Wix Premium or higher upgrade
  2. the upgraded Customer Review app
  3. has added the Wix Store app

We created a free small integration program that you can install on your website. The integration program will work well for most people but if you need support we have it available.

To help you test the integration without upgrading the Customer Review app please email wix@dwalliance.com with the email address you put in the app. We will enable the Customer Review upgrade for a few days so you can easily test the app without having to upgrade first. Please make sure all the other steps below are completed prior to asking for the trial period.

If the free integration software does not work for you you can hire one of us to customize the integration for you. If your integration fails you can hire one of us to fix it for you. Gurantee: If we fail to install or fix the integration then we will refund the installation or fix fee. Warranty: There is no warranty.


Lets get started.

Can you answer yes to these three questions:

  1. You have a Wix premium account or higher upgrade.
  2. You have the upgraded Customer Review app.
  3. You have installed the Wix Store app.

If you can answer yes to all three questions great!

Please Note: There is no free support for this feature the reason is because it is not with in the realm of people trained in web support. If you want us to help you install it is $49. Installation support is we help you get it installed and working. If something changes and the integration breaks that is different. Fixing an existing installation that broke is $49. Installation is normaly very easy. Which is why we put the how to get the paid support option at the bottom of the page. Give the installation a shot you should be done in a just a few minutes.


Step 1

Install the Customer Review app on the Product Page beneath the STORE PAGES.

Here is how to navigate to the Product Page

Install the Customer Review app beneath the product details.

You need to install on the bottom because the reviews will expand and expand and expand over time :-).


Step 3

Make sure the Customer Review show different reviews on different pages is enabled.

 Step 4

 Install the Wix Store app and Customer Review app connection file.

Click Settings -> Tracking & Analytics

Open the Bottom - End Section

Step 5

Then copy and paste code below into the Paste the code snippet here field.


Select the correct domain.

Enter the "Customer Review and Wix Store Integration" into the Name field.

Select Choose specific page and select Product Page in the store section of the list.

Click apply.

Step 6

Save and publish your site. That should do it. Test adding reviews to different products.


Support for Wix Store app and Customer Review app integration

If following the steps above did not work and you are stumped! Bummer. It is not easy for us either. That code snippet took us many hours of work over several months to create. We contacted Wix support multiple times, read tons of docs and then after figuring out how to make it work we had to hire someone better versed than us in a programming language called JavaScript to actually make it work. So nope there is no free support for Wix Store app integration. The pages support and the product integration support neither are listed in the features of the Customer Review app. The reason we are explaining paid support exhaustively is some people think the Internet is free and we programmers can work for free. Just so you know we have kids, we eat food, we pay rent, mortgages, insurance, etc  just like you and we need to pay them just like you.

All that being said we just like you don't like being over charged. Hence the flat $49 installation fee and the flat $49 fix it fee. If we are not able to install or fix the integration then we refund the $49. Simple as that .. we either make it work .. or we give you a refund.

So if you are in need of integration support and you have $49.  You need to give us the ability to install the script and test it. To do that you need to open the Roles and Permissions under settings.

Then add wix@dwalliance.com as an Admin.


After you have sent the invite submit the installation or fix it fee.
